The Girondins de Bordeaux bus. - Clément Carpentier / 20 Minutes

French football clubs continue to mobilize to help in the fight against the Covid-19 coronavirus. After notably PSG or Toulouse, it is the Girondins de Bordeaux who take action. As RMC Sport revealed a few days ago, the club proposed to the Regional Health Agency in New Aquitaine the provision of its bus. A proposal seized by the authorities.

This Thursday at the end of the morning, it will not be the players of Paulo Sousa who will board the Girondins bus but the nursing staff (doctors, nurses ...). They will be 18 to take place in the vehicle at 11h. Direction Mulhouse to help their colleagues in the Grand-Est in the face of the pandemic. For four days, they will take over from nursing staff who are often exhausted. The return, still by bus, is scheduled for Tuesday, April 7.

As a reminder, the Girondins de Bordeaux, like the Ultramarines, recently opened pots to support the CHU Pellegrin. The club also donated 15,000 euros.

We, Ultramarines, send a special message of support to healthcare staff and all those affected by this crisis.
In these difficult times, let us remain responsible and united.
