The past season has been turbulent for the Swedish skiing team. Several key people have left the organization, most recently men's coaches Fredrik Uusitalo and Mattias Nilsson. According to data for SVT Sport, it is now also only a matter of time before the women's coaches Magnus Ingesson and Stefan Thomson quit.

- It is very sad that it comes out in the media, from what I have heard it is incorrect information. I have a lot of confidence in them, ”says Evelina Settlin to SVT Sport.

- Right now it is important that they (the union) get peace and quiet and can put in a good organization, then I think it will be good. In this way, it is perhaps good in all the negative with the corona, that the season ended earlier.

There should be widespread dissatisfaction with the trainers' training program, several sources have stated for SVT Sport and Expressen. According to data from Expressen, several stars are considering leaving the national team. But there is nothing Settlin recognizes.

- I don't even know where that information comes from. I think it's a big advantage to be in the national team, you get a lot out of it and I think it's good, ”she says.

Evelina Settlin, who is the rider's representative to the association, believes that it has been a messy season with many changes.

- It is hard to say whether it has been good or bad, but with people who have disappeared it has not been an optimal situation.

How much influence do you have on skiers?

- It is nevertheless a great deal, we have got to be present now and give comments in developing a new national team manager. I feel that they are listening to us.

- It should be a confident person who is good at distributing work and seeing the whole.

How much insight have you had in the process of developing a new manager?

- We were at the very beginning and had to be involved in developing the requirements picture. We are the riders who will perform and then we need to be satisfied with it all around.
