- José Antonio Reyes, dies at 35 in a traffic accident
The footballer José Antonio Reyes, who died on June 1, 2019 after a traffic accident, was traveling at least 187 km / h when he perished on the A-376 road at the height of Alcalá de Guadaíra (Seville), losing his life also his cousin Jonathan Reyes.
This was announced this Wednesday by the Cadena SER in the local section of Seville, echoing the conclusion reached by the Traffic Civil Guard after carrying out its investigations into the incident.
According to the information from the SER, the left rear wheel of the Mercedes Brabus S550 exploded and that caused José Antonio Reyes to lose absolute control of the car while he was behind the wheel.
"The vehicle went off the highway, overturned and caught fire about 200 meters from the highway," recalled the station, adding that the expert report is now available in the court investigating the events in Alcalá de Guadaíra.
