Three-time Triathlon (triathlon) world champion, German Jan Froodino, plans to complete the racing game called "Iron Man", while undergoing self-isolation at his home in Spain.

Triathlon is like a marathon, which starts with swimming then cycling and ends with running, and there are several types of it: winter that includes skiing, and mountain that does not include swimming.

"They say: Please do not try to do this at home! But I say: I want to swim 3.8 kilometers, ride a bike 180 kilometers, and run, everything in the house. Everything between sunrise and sunset," Frodoino wrote to his account on Facebook and Instagram. .

Frodino, 38, will travel about 200 km at his home in Girona, near Barcelona, Spain, in his swimming pool that has a built-in stream, and his bike is in a steady position, and will run competitions on his treadmill.

"No, this is not the April Fool's joke," Frodino told German news agency DPA.

The unusual event has been planned since last Saturday, in which Froodino wishes to donate any possible income from sponsors.

"It seems unusual," said Frodoño. "Iron Man's competitions are always unusual in general. And there is something very special about what people do here in Spain, in Germany as well and around the world, especially health care workers."

Given the ongoing quarantine situation currently imposed on Spain, as one of the countries hardest hit by the Corona virus emerging (Covid-19), outdoor training is not possible at the present time for Frodino.
