Stina Nilsson announced just over a week ago that she saddles from cross-country skiing to biathlon.

The news broke down as a flash from clear skies and many have praised the 26-year-old for her courage.

The world's best biathlete on the men's side, Johannes Thingnes Bö, is next in line to pay tribute to the Swede.

"Don't Listen to Pichler"

The Norwegian thinks she will succeed.

- I think it can go really well. Stina has achieved an incredible amount and needs new motivation. She is not a practitioner who switches from cross-country to biathlon because she was not the best. Nilsson was the best in his sport and now wants to test something new. It is a good starting point and it will be incredibly exciting to follow, ”says Bö to VG.

But the Norwegian sends a piece of advice to the Swede: Don't listen to Wolfgang Pichler's tips.

Last week, Pichler told SVT Sport that Nilsson will need to train 2-3 hours a day to succeed.

- To put it bluntly, I'm glad I don't have Pichler as a coach. I had never been able to work out 2-3 hours a day. Then I had become bored a long time ago, says Bö.
