Tasks for SVT Sport: Time issue before women coaches are allowed to leave

SVT Sport has on several occasions previously reported on the turbulence within the ski association. And it continues. There is widespread dissatisfaction with the women's trainers, Magnus Ingesson and Stefan Thomson's training program, several sources have stated for SVT Sport and Expressen.

But it is not only dissatisfaction with the training program, but also that the team feeling is poor and that there are cracks and groupings in the national team.

The union now contacts the riders to create a picture of the situation in the women's team so that they can then act. According to sources at SVT Sport, it is only a matter of time before the women coaches can leave their services.

- There is no other solution, says a source at SVT Sport.

- It is a matter of time before they are allowed to leave, says a source with good insight into the Swedish Ski Association.

Magnus Ingesson and Stefan Thomson stepped in as coach for the 2018/2019 season with the goal of training the national team against the 2022 Olympics. In connection with this, Charlotte Kalla also returned to the national team.

Stefan Thomson and Magnus Ingesson do not want to say anything about what their contract looks like, and say they do not know what the future looks like.

- An evaluation process is underway now, nothing is clear. The only thing we have been told is that a national team manager should be recruited who step one, that is the info we have to relate to, says Thomson.

If you were not to continue as the women's team coach, you have been Charlotte Kalla's personal trainer for many years, how do you see that collaboration going forward?

- I have no comments on that.

There has been talk of a dissatisfaction among the gulls, how do you see it?

- It is through the media we get to know it, it is good that we get to look at the evaluations and see what the dissatisfaction consists of, says Ingesson.

However, there are divided sentences, where change is also stated to be satisfied with the arrangement.
