Jelena, the seven-time Slovak soccer champions, has said it faces the risk of liquidation due to financial problems caused by the suspension of the local season due to the outbreak of the Coruna virus.

Jelena, one of the most popular clubs in Slovakia, canceled the contracts of 17 players, including the highest paid, and those whose contracts will expire this year.

The club asked the players to cut their salaries by 80%, but they refused.
