The Referees Committee of the Football Association held today its first meeting since its new complaint through the visual communication system headed by Ali Hamad Al Badwawi, and with the participation of Salem Abdullah Al Shamsi, Vice Chairman of the Committee and members of the Committee, and Ali Hamad Al Badwawi welcomed the members of the Committee wishing them all success in cooperation and work in a work team One aiming to develop the arbitration system in Emirates football.

The committee agreed to activate the financial list of discounts and penalties for referees as soon as the sport activity resumed and made some adjustments to it in a manner consistent with the use of assistive video referee technology, and recommended continuity of communication with the International and Asian Football Confederations towards

The use of international lecturers during training courses, internal and external camps and workshops, as a means of exchanging and acquiring the necessary expertise for arbitration personnel.

The committee mandated the referees' administration to submit a comprehensive and integrated work plan for the development of the arbitration wire during the next four years, provided that it includes all elements of the arbitration system including lecturers, residents, trainers and referees.

The committee reviewed the results of the participants of the newly refereed referees' session, and submitted a recommendation to the Football Association’s board of directors to approve the results of 28 new referees for that session, as well as another recommendation to approve the promotion of 9 referees from the second degree to the first class, 6 referees from the third degree to the second degree, and 6 Referees from the newcomers to the third degree, and the committee also reviewed the report of the director of referees administration regarding the technical work of the administration during the current period that witnesses the stoppage of sports activity in the country, which included the use of referees management system for distance education, in addition to the articles of technical analysis for arbitration cases.

The committee decided to form a sub-committee to manage the technical work of the referees of the first team, the referees of the second group and the judges of the referees, in addition to a team for the referees of the stages, a team for the referees and beach soccer officials, and a team for the referees of football.

The committee recommended the continuity of follow-up of referees' training and preparations via Polar devices and their continuous communication with the department's fitness coaches.
