The reason for not having to change the rules is that there is already a wording that "special reasons" should be taken into account.

- We already have regulations where there is an opportunity for the licensing committee to grant a license even if the clubs do not meet the mandatory a-criteria. It is if there are special reasons and there may be circumstances that the association could not foresee or control, says Kjell Sahlström and continues:

- However, this does not mean that everyone gets a license. It could be any club that was very risky even before the corona.

On Monday, Helsingborg chairman Krister Azelius went out and told them that they were in financial crisis.

- We go back 17 million because of corona. This means that the elite license is smoked, he told Aftonbladet.

Sahlström still calls for calm at this stage.

- We do not decide on any licenses before November, so we will see how the situation is then. But they had positive equity last December 2019 so they are not in the loop for any action plans right now.
