Zamalek chairman, Mortada Mansour, confirmed that there is no thought in reducing the players ’salaries, despite the cessation of sports activity, as a result of precautionary measures to counter the Corona virus.

Mansour said in TV statements today, that any decision regarding reducing players ’contracts will be in general for all clubs, and from the five-year committee that manages the Egyptian Football Association, indicating that Zamalek is not the only one affected by the suspension of the league competition.

He added: French coach Patrice Carteron continues with Zamalek, and will not leave, despite the state of stopping sports activity. Mortada Mansour concluded by saying: Mahmoud Alaa renewed his contract with Zamalek, and he will not move to another club.
