Novak Djokovic (Serbia), the world's No. 1 male tennis player, donated a donation of 1 million euros (about 1.34 billion won) to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection-19 (corona19).
"I decided to donate a million euros to my donation for the purchase of medical equipment to overcome Corona 19 through the Novak Foundation with my wife Yelena," said Jokovich on her social media.
"It will be an easy fight against Corona 19, but we will overcome it and become stronger," Jokovic said in an interview with the Serbian media.
Jokovic competed in two competitions this year: the Australian Open and the Men's Tennis (ATP) Tour Dubai Duty Free Championship.
'Tennis Emperor' Roger Federer (fourth in the world and Switzerland) also donated a million Swiss francs (about 1.25 billion won) to overcome Corona 19 two days ago.
