The Danish player Pion Sisto broke the quarantine in Spain and drove his car 27 hours before reaching his country, which could expose him to severe penalties from his club Celta Vigo.

Spanish media reported that Sesto, 25, left Spain without his team’s permission, and traveled nearly 3,000 km on his way to Denmark.

The player violated the quarantine instructions announced by Spain in an attempt to curb the outbreak of the new Corona virus (Covid-19), which has killed more than five thousand people so far.

Media reports confirmed that Celta Vigo club will impose a large fine on the player for violating the instructions and exit without obtaining a license from the management.

Sesto has played for Celta Vigo since 2016 on the left-back, and has played 108 matches with the team, scoring 12 goals.
