The alarm to the fire department in Glynn County came at 05.18 local time and 16 firefighters fought the fire which was fought for a couple of hours before the house, valued at around SEK 50 million, caught fire.
55-year-old Love and his wife Robin were the only ones in the house and they managed to get out. The cause of the fire is unknown, but the fire should have occurred in the garage, according to AP.

Love had a career that went on between 1985 and 2019. He won 21 times on the PGA Tour, a major PGA Championship in 1997, and recorded around SEK 450 million in prize money.
He was also captain of the 2012 and 2016 Ryder Cup teams.
