Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic apologized the day before yesterday for breaking the conditions of sanitary isolation, which he should have adhered to after his return to his country, in light of the outbreak of the Corona virus, especially in Spain.

The royal club was placed in quarantine, last week, after a case of Covid-19 virus was discovered in the basketball team, which led to the suspension of La Liga competition for at least two phases. However, Jovic stated that his club was allowed to return to his country, after the result of his examination was negative.

The Serbian authorities imposed the returnees on putting themselves in voluntary isolation for two weeks, but the 22-year-old was seen walking on the street and celebrating with his close friend, which drew widespread criticism in Serbia from the press and government officials.

"First, I'm very sorry," wrote the former player for Eintracht Frankfurt, Germany, and Benfica, through his accounts on social media. "In Madrid, the (Covid-19) examination that I had had a negative, and the same is the same in Serbia. So I decided to travel to Serbia to support my people, in addition to being close to my family, with the permission of the club. ” Jovic found himself the subject of harsh criticism from officials, led by Prime Minister Anna Bernabej, who said: “We saw the bad examples offered by our football stars, who earn millions (dollars), and ignore voluntary isolation when they return to their country.”

Jovic came under fire after breaking health isolation in Spain and traveling to Serbia, where he was seen wandering in public places.
