First came the message that the European Championship qualifiers, which should have been played at the end of March, will be moved until June and shortly thereafter it became clear that the Olympic qualifiers will be moved up to three months.

So the plan right now is that Sweden's handball ladies will play both European Championship and Olympic qualifiers in June.

- I don't understand how they get everything together. The leagues have playoffs, there are players who play Champions League and European Cups and then there is an EM qualification and an Olympic qualification on which they were shot. I don't think anything will happen in April so time is short. I think everything will be very difficult and messy, says Swedish captain Sabina Jacobsen to SVT Sport.

The 30-year-old, who is in quarantine in Russia where she plays for CSKA Moscow, says that the uncertainty is hard.

- Will there be an EM qualifier? An Olympic qualifier? An Olympics? It is hard to not be able to plan and to not know what is happening. You have many goals and have trained a lot for some things, for example, an Olympics is only every four years.

The Olympics could be arranged as usual even if there is no qualification in the handball.

- Right now it is also talked about that it should be included in rankings in each group. I hope above all that it will be an Olympics and that we will be able to play, but no one has any idea what will happen.

If it becomes an Olympic Games, how is Sweden's team affected by a long break?

- The conditions are the same for all countries. And hopefully you can play handball in June and if you choose to hold an Olympic Games, you still have time to train together.
