Next Monday, March 16, the national team will gather for the Olympic qualifiers against Spain, Argentina and Senegal. A week later, they will play double European qualifiers against the Czech Republic.

One of the selected players for the European Championship qualification is Sävehof's middle sex Johanna Forsberg. But the question is whether she will be able to be there.

Angry in torment

Today, when Sävehof ended the Champions League game with a loss of 17-29 against Isabelle Gulldén's Brest Brittany, she was already leaving after ten minutes.

When she took a step to the left she (judged by the TV pictures) got the whole body weight on the left foot which was twisted. She then writhed in torments on the floor, and then carried by the plan in her arms to a teammate and team leader.

Overby hopeful

She then saw the rest of the match from the side, with her left foot hard taped, placed on a chair. Sävehof's coach Rasmus Overby hopes he won't have to do without Forsberg for so long.

"I don't think it's that dangerous," he told Viasat before the second half.

Brest second in the group

Already before the match it was clear that Sävehof would finish last in the group, after only one win in ten matches. Brest, in turn, was already clear group two.

- I actually think it's been a very, very good trip for us. We have learned a lot. There are a lot of positive things we can take with us. We play good handball, almost better in the Champions League than in SHE. There is a lot of positives that we can take with us, ”says Rasmus Overby.
