Boca Juniors strengthened their position as the second most crowned team in the Argentine Premier League title after winning the title for the 31st time in its history.

Boca Juniors' crowning of the title came after beating its guest, Jimnasia La Plata, with a clean goal, coinciding with the draw of its direct followers River Plate with Atletico Tucuman 1-1 at dawn on Sunday, the last stage 23.

And Boca Juniors raised its lead in the lead to 48 points, one point behind runner-up River Plate to take the title in the last breath of the competition.

Carlos Tevez took the lead and scored the decisive winning goal for Boca Juniors (72).

With 31 titles, Pat Boca Juniors are only five titles from River Plate's record-breaking club title, with 36 championships.

Boca Juniors won the domestic league title for the fourth time in the last five years, to prove to be a constant contender for the title with River Plate.
