On the Arab level, the Lebanese Ministry of Youth and Sports called on Friday to suspend all sports activities until the end of March, as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of Corona, after the number of people infected with the epidemic increased to 18, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

According to the circular of the Ministry of Youth and Sports: "Based on coordination with the Ministry of Public Health, the Ministry of Youth and Sports invites unions, associations, and sports, youth and scouting clubs to suspend all kinds of activities until the end of March."

The statement added, "The Ministry of Youth and Sports considers this circular as a precautionary measure aimed at protecting the public safety of youth, scouts, athletes, coaches, administrators and the public alike, and at preventing the spread of the Corona virus and is in line with the measures taken by the Ministry of Public Health in this field."
