Rugby Association Infection spread, talks on handling of top league games February 25 20:41

Following the spread of the new coronavirus, the Japan Rugby Association will discuss the treatment of top league matches on the 25th.

According to officials of the Japan Rugby Association, on the 26th, following the spread of the new coronavirus, countermeasures teams and top league officials who set up within the association will gather and discuss how to handle future top league games about it.

Most recently, the eight games in Section 7 are scheduled for two days, 29th of this month and 1st of next month.

Until now, the Top League has voluntarily refrained from providing fan services in which players and spectators come into contact, such as shaking hands after a game or taking photos.

Also, as part of the strengthening for the Tokyo Olympics, next month we will discuss the training camp for Japanese national candidates for seven-person rugby and the activities of the Japanese high school national team, which are scheduled in Okinawa and other countries.
