Rolf-Göran Bengtsson was first out in the jump with Cassilano Jmen. A horse that is not naturally the fastest and he had to chance to take home the victory.

- I tried, but he wasn't really in the first turn, says Rolf-Göran Bengtsson to SVT Sport.

He went for it - but unfortunately it didn't hold all the way to the finish and he finished in fifth place.

"Of course it feels great, I was surprised that we were flawless after the basic round," he says.

Won did the experienced Norwegian Geri Gulliksen who was flawless and had a time of 45.75.

- To win as a 60-year-old in the world's best competition is fantastic, my horse jumped fantastic, he tells SVT Sport.

Legal cuts for Fredricson and Eckermann

It was the entire nine Swedish equipage to start, but only Rolf-Göran Bengtsson who jumped.

Peder Fredricson and Henrik von Eckermann offered fine laps, but both riders legally tore the last obstacle.

- The horse jumped superbly, except for the last obstacle where he did not really get the height, Fredricson tells SVT Sport.

For Erica Swartz, it was a nightmare start when she tore the first hurdle, but recovered nicely and ended in four errors. Douglas Lindelöw ended on 12 errors and Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli had 16 errors. Fredrik Jönsson, Stephanie Holmén and Daniel Svensson chose to leave.

Only five faultless

It was anything but a simple basic round. When all 23 equipages had jumped clear, only five were faultless.

Bryan Balsiger was two, Kevin Staut three, Olivier Philippaerts four and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson fifth.
