The Emirates Bicycle Tour is inaugurating its second global race in the Middle East, its second edition, which will be held from 23 to 29 this year, with the opening ceremony tonight which will be held at the Westin Dubai Marina and the Mina Seyahi Beach Resort to present the participating teams.

The ceremony will witness technical presentations related to sport biking and re-review of new tracks after the recent amendments and the most prominent milestones through which the race will pass, in the presence of members of the Organizing Committee and a number of sports leaders.

A statement issued by the organizing committee said that a press conference will be held today at five in the evening in the Westin Hotel in Dubai, during which the most prominent riders participating in the circling, after the lists of teams were approved yesterday.

The second edition witnesses the participation of 20 professional teams led by the elite of the most prominent riders in the world, led by the British Mark Cavendish, captain of the Bahrain McLaren team, and the Spanish Alejandro Valverde, the Dragster of Movistar, and the Dutch Dylan Gronwijn from the team Jumbo Wisma, and many big names.

The organizing committee has approved 210 riders from the starting list. They will be on the starting line tomorrow in The Point area on the Palm Jumeirah island in the first stage. The teams have also selected their most experienced and experienced riders to take over the "leadership" task.

The race starts with the "Dubai Silicon Oasis" stage for a distance of 148 km, which starts from the point in The Palm Jumeirah, during which the riders reach the power zone through the Marmum reserve and end in the city center.

The cruise organizing committee officially adopted a list of 210 riders.
