In her book Un si long silence , ex-skater Sarah Abitbol recently accused her former trainer, Gilles Beyer, of raping her from the ages of 15 to 17. Guest of the program Facing listeners , on Europe 1, the former president of RC Toulon Mourad Boudjellal judges this testimony "very moving", before criticizing the reaction of the officials of the Federation concerned.

"You are responsible for not knowing"

"I was scandalized by the figure skating file," says Mourad Boudjellal, openly criticizing the attitude of the president of the French Federation of Ice Sports, Didier Gailhaguet, who defended himself at length in the media after the the affair broke out and initially refused to resign - before resolving it. "When you are president of a Federation, even if you did not know, you are responsible for not knowing. It is the least of things," says the former leader of the RCT.

"I, sincerely I am the president of a Federation, I learn that there has been a sexual predator for twenty years in my Federation and that I have not seen it, I say: 'excuse me, I am go because I suck, I missed out. '"says Mourad Boudjellal. "I found this guy with incredible indecency. When for twenty years we had a sexual predator in his Federation, either because we let him do it or because we didn't know, we don't show his mouth on TV, we apologize and we disappear. "

Could such a scandal erupt in rugby? "Sexual harassment on guys of 140 kilos is quite rare," first sweeps Mourad Boudjellal. As for the positions occupied by women in clubs, the former leader claims to have always had particular vigilance within the club he chaired. "I had a case in my office two or three years ago, and the person worked 24 hours (before being thanked, note ). It was not very serious, it was only pictures."
