The Asian lecturer, former Al Ain goalkeeper, Zakaria Ahmed, said that "the complete absence of any citizen guard coach from the 14 professional clubs in the Arab Gulf League has no other explanation other than that these clubs do not trust the capabilities of the national guard coach."

Zakaria Ahmed revealed to «Emirates Today» that, according to a statistic he carried out, 165 guards coaches generally work in Emirates clubs, including 33 specialized national coaches, compared to 132 foreign coaches, and that the Arab Gulf League clubs do not give an opportunity to any citizen coach to train the guards, while even In other clubs, their work is limited to training young guards in the Sunni stages, as they are absent from the reserve teams and the first teams, while he said that a club like Falaj Al-Mualla does not have any national guard coach, even in the smaller classes, and that many of the coaches perform the usual training task And by training the guards.

He added: “The numbers of the goalkeeper coaches in our clubs confirm that the goalkeeper system in the clubs is running in a random manner, and indicates their suffering in dealing with this important file. He is the goalkeeper who can destroy a team if it is not established in the right way and gets full training.

He added: “The suffering of the clubs is great with the goalkeeper coaches. For example, the Falaj Al-Mualla club does not have a goalkeeper coach, and there is a club with only one coach, and most of the coaches hired in the clubs do not have a license to practice the profession, as they are employed even from Without checking their CVs that they exaggerate. By virtue of my presence in Asian lectures, I found a lot of errors in the CVs, and unfortunately many of them are unrealistic.

He added: «The clubs are licensed to contract with the coach who is training only three or four people, they are the goalkeepers in each team, and what is missing from these clubs is that building a good team requires a good goalkeeper, and if it is not established in a correct way, it may blow up the work of the whole season. And he has the club’s budget. ”

He continued: «We have competencies that are ignored, as the coach of the former first-team guards, Captain Hassan Ismail, an Asian lecturer, there is no club that attracts him, so why is a coach like him absent from professional clubs? And why are all the national coaches in football schools only? Is it because of the lack of competence, on the contrary, this is not true, but the truth is lack of confidence and lack of awareness of the importance of the citizen coach. ”

Zakaria confirmed that the clubs do not pay the necessary attention to the issue of the goalkeeper coach, and he cited that only five clubs have supervisors on the work of the goalkeeper coach, as they have a question of assessing and supervising the work of the goalkeeper coach.

He said that even the employment of these supervisors is not done in the right way, noting that "one of them works without a license, even though he is responsible for a very important file" and added: "If you want to get a championship, you have to have a strong goalkeeper."

The Asian lecturer set the example for the Liverpool team, which has the best goalkeeper in the world, the Brazilian Ellison, who was a major cause in the Liverpool team won the European Champions League and Super League title and Club World Cup last season.

Zakaria concluded his speech by stressing the need to open the door to national competencies in training in general, especially for training goalkeepers, because this file is very important for the future of clubs.
