A state of anger prevailed among football fans in Egypt and those who were deprived for nearly 7 years of attending the matches after Cairo International Stadium embraced a rich concert on the occasion of Valentine's Day yesterday, attended by 80,000 people.
The fans called "Cairo Stadium" and "Cairo Stadium" for concerts, to express their anger over the denial of attending matches for security reasons, while the Ministry of Interior allows concerts to be organized inside one of the largest and most prestigious football stadiums in the continent of Africa.
And many of the pioneers of the communication sites in Egypt expressed their dissatisfaction with the paragraph of the artists Hassan Shakoush and Amr Kamal and the popular songs they presented calling for the use of cannabis and alcohol in a place that has a place with the Egyptians such as the Cairo Stadium.
What exacerbated the anger of the masses was the announcement by the head of the Cairo Stadium Authority, Major General Ali Darwish, after the end of the ceremony that the stadium will be closed for maintenance for a period of three months, starting next April.
The anger and sarcasm of the fans was not only limited to the public, but former Egypt captain Ahmed Hassan criticized the holding of the Valentine's Day concert at Cairo Stadium.
He tweeted on his Twitter page, saying, "Name: Cairo Stadium for Matches and Wins Previously, Current Position: Cairo Theater for Concerts and Festivals."

The Cairo Stadium is a prominent football symbol in Egypt, as the Egyptian team achieved on its ground the title of the 2006 African Nations Cup, and the Egyptian clubs achieved many achievements among its walls.
The Egyptian authorities do not allow the fans to enter the stadiums to encourage their clubs in the Egyptian league since 2012, after the incident of the Al-Ahly and Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi match, which killed 73 fans in the city of Port Said in particular.
Al-Ahly requested the holding of the South African Mamelodi Sun Downs in the first leg of the African Champions League quarter-finals in Cairo Stadium, and Zamalek also asked to hold its match against Tunisian Esperance at the same stage there.
