Mahmoud Abdel Razek (Shikabala), player of the Zamalek team, is undergoing a medical test today, Thursday, to determine his ability to compete in the Super African match against Esperance Tunisia on Friday in the Qatari capital, Doha.

Shikabala missed the last matches of his team in the Egyptian League due to a back muscle injury, and he almost never recovered from it but suffered a knee bruise that kept him away from the last game against the Ismaili in the local competition, which Zamalek settled in his favor 2-1.

Zamalek - who participates in the match as the African Confederation Cup (Confederation of Africa) champion last season - will conclude his preparations today, Thursday, at Thani Bin Jassim Stadium in Al Gharafa Club, which will be the match.

On Wednesday, the Association of Zamalek fans in Qatar was present at the Thani Bin Jassim Stadium, where members of the association communicated with the head of the mission, Ismail Youssef, in order to attend only half an hour of the team's last training tomorrow, Thursday, to support the players and give them a moral boost before their meeting in front of Esperance.

French coach Patrice Cartieron allocated a paragraph at the end of the session to pay the penalty kicks, as the tournament regulation provides for resorting to penalty shootouts in the event of a tie in the original time of the match.

Zamalek - who records its fifth appearance in the African Super Cup - is seeking the title for the fourth time in its history, after winning it in 1994, 1997 and 2009.
