It looked positive for Sweden initially. The Swedish national team was in the lead with 23-21 at halftime.

- A fantastic first half, says SVT expert Elisabeth Egnell.

Then there was the hope of an Olympic site - but it was extinguished during the second half of the match.

Meesseman superb

The third period was a heavy experience for Sweden, which lost by as much as 10-21. Sweden finished strongly in the fourth and final period, but it helped little.

Belgium won by 61-53. Belgian star Emma Meesseman accounted for 24 points for the home run.

"It is she who decides this match," says Elisabeth Egnell.

The best point in Sweden was Frida Eldebrink with 14 points. She was disappointed and sad after the match.

- It's very emotional right now. It's a dream come true, it's very difficult right now.

A nice bet?

- No, we can't win. So it doesn't feel good.

"More heart and passion"

The loss means that Sweden has lost three of three matches in the Olympic qualifiers.

- The positive with Sweden's match is more presence, more heart and passion, says Egnell.

There have been losses against Japan, Canada and Belgium.

- It was a tough draw. Chances were pretty small. Then I don't think the first two matches were good enough. Today you make a good match, and you have to bring it along, says Egnell.
