The second edition of the UAE Challenge Tactical Team 2020 Championship, which is held under the patronage of the team His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, is organized by the General Command of Dubai Police, with the participation of 46 teams of special units and tactical teams, Representing 26 countries, with a total prize pool of $ 170,000, competitions take place at the level of five different competitions, starting with a hostage rescue challenge, followed by an attack challenge, then an officer rescue, a high tower challenge, and finally a challenge of passing the barriers on the last day of the tournament.

The organizing committee announced the completion of registration of the teams participating in the second edition of the challenge, which will be hosted by the training city in Al Ruwayya, Dubai during the period from the ninth to the 13th of this month.

The Commander in Chief of Dubai Police, Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, expressed his happiness with the number of participating teams in the second year in a row, stressing that this reflects the extent of interest of the police forces from different countries of the world, which the participating teams follow in this type of challenge for special teams, to measure efficiency and readiness .

He added in press statements: "The tournament is the best proof of the level of organization and the good reputation that the UAE enjoys, and its distinction among various countries to hold such a big event, which brings together many different nationalities and teams." And the Commander in Chief of Dubai Police continued, "All the security teams participating in the championship, despite their different training schools, are united in the security of the societies."

He explained that the Dubai police teams obtaining the first positions in the first version of the challenge, last year, confirms the extent of professionalism in dealing with all events and performing tasks according to the predetermined time, pointing out that this does not mean absolute preference over the rest of the teams.
