Former Real Madrid star, Michel Salgado said that Dubai registered its name on the map of global sports in general, and football in particular, after it became a favorite destination for the best clubs in the world.
He explained in statements published by the media office of the Dubai government, that Dubai is able to organize the best sporting events, and said: "I live here and know what Dubai can offer when organizing any sporting event."
He added: "I remember when I first came to Dubai in 2001, as I was amazed and admired by the wonderful possibilities the state possesses, while I became permanently present here after my retirement from football."
He continued: "Life here is wonderful, I live with my family, as everything is available in terms of safety, schools and living that make the individual feel happy and stable."
