The African Champions League quarter-finals draw resulted in a confrontation for the Tunisian champions, Esperance, with Egypt's Zamalek back and forth, after facing the upcoming African Super Title next week in the Qatari capital, Doha.

And holders of Esperance in the last two versions, will meet Zamalek on February 14th in Doha within the continental Super Cup, which brings together the champions of the Champions League and the Federation Cup last season.

Zamalek will host its Tunisian rival in Cairo at the end of this month in the first leg of the quarter-finals, before facing a second leg at the "Rades" stadium in the capital, Tunis, a week later.

The Egyptian record-holder Al-Ahly will have the chance to win the African Championship eight times - to avenge Mamelodi Sundowns, the South African champion who ousted him from the same round last year, when he hosted him in the first leg and crushed him with five clean, before Al-Ahly won by one goal in a match Back in Cairo.

Al-Ahly will host the Sundowns 2016 champion in Cairo at the end of this month, before playing in South Africa a week later.

The draw also resulted in a difficult confrontation for the Moroccan Al-Casablanca oval against Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which crowned the title five times, while its neighbor, Wydad Casablanca, will face a confrontation that will not be less difficult for the Tunisian coastal star.

On the other hand, the African Cup of Nations quarter-finals draw resulted in a difficult confrontation for Egyptian Port Said against the rise of Berkane El Maghribi and Saif Al-Batal, while the Libyan victory will meet Hassania Agadir of Morocco in another Arab confrontation.

The winners from the two encounters will meet in the semi-finals, to guarantee the Arabs a seat in the final match.

Egyptian pyramids will also play in the first continental participation with Zambian Zanako, while Nigerian Enyimba - crowned formerly in the Champions League - will play with Guinean freedom.

The first-leg matches of the quarter-finals will be held on the first of next month on the stadiums of the second-placed clubs in the group stage, while the return matches will be held on the eighth of the same month on the stadiums of the clubs that lead the groups, namely Pyramids, Al-Hurriya, Nahdat Berkane and Hassania Agadir.
