Uwe Rösler got fired from Malmö FF - now ready for Bundesliga club Fortuna Düsseldorf

Although the German Uwe Rösler led Malmö FF to group victory in the Europa League, and took them to the playoffs in the tournament for the second year in a row, he was allowed to leave the club after the 2019 season.

Now he has finished a new job. He takes over the Bundesliga-final Fortuna Düsseldorf.

- The Bundesliga has always been a dream for me. I'm happy to work for such a classic club and to help them stay in the league, he said at the press conference where he was presented on Wednesday afternoon.

- I have been a coach for 16 years and believe that I have the skills and energy to do this together with the team and the coaching staff.

Rösler also told us that it was quick to get ready for the new job.
