"He is incredibly motivated and wants to help on this trip," says sports manager Fredrik Glader in a video interview on Modo's website.

Tonight's match winner Erik Hanses was moderately road over the message.

- You learn to open the door now so it sucks, but I'll do everything to try to play, says the Modo goalkeeper to Aftonbladet.

Bartosak has signed contract season out and if Modo goes up in SHL he will also stay next season.

Treated for mental illness

The 26-year-old Czech national team goalkeeper has been away from the ice hockey in the fall when he was treated for mental illness and alcohol problems. Something he was open about to the Czech media.

This season he has represented Trinec in the Czech league, but has not played since early November. Until then, he had a rescue percentage of 93.2 percent.

Expressen and Allehanda revealed the news during the day, but only after the match against Björklöven did Modo confirm the acquisition.

Modo dropped out of SHL in the spring of 2016 and is now making his fourth straight season in the hockey all-Swedish.
