DeNA's new foreign athletes, main axis and starting candidates, joined at 18:05 on January 29

Professional baseball DeNA's main candidate, Tyler Austin, and starting candidate, Michael Peoples, gave a press conference and talked about their enthusiasm.

The two came to Japan last week and held a conference at the baseball team office in Yokohama on the 29th.

Austin, a 28-year-old U.S. player, played in four league teams, including the Major League Baseball Yankees and Brewers, and played 209 games in total, hitting a batting average of 21.09. Of these, approximately 30% of the 33 are home runs, and the team expects to be a major candidate.

Austin said, "I'm thrilled. I like to work hard on everything and I want to do my best to contribute to the team's victory."

The Peoples pitcher is also a 28-year-old from the United States and has no experience in the Major League. However, he is aiming for a starter rotation with a fastball exceeding 150 kg thrown from a height of 96 cm and a variety of changing balls.

"I like Japanese baseball, so it's a great opportunity to play here. I think it's a good thing to throw long innings, so I want to help the team."
