JOC = The Japan Olympic Committee has held a board meeting in Tokyo and has officially decided to make Sapporo a national candidate for the Winter Olympics and Paralympics in 2030.
Sapporo City has officially stated to the JOC in writing that it is the only city in Japan to be interested in hosting the Games as a necessary procedure in order to bid for the 2030 Winter Games last month.
