Loui Sand: "This year has probably been the sickest"

In January 2019, the message came. Loui Sand quit the handball career and queued up to be diagnosed with gender dysphoria.

- I have been feeling incredibly bad lately and I have known what it is due to. "I was born in the wrong body," said Sand in the Draft pod then.

Now, just over a year later, Loui Sand has begun her new life where the former handball star is traveling around and lectures on her situation.

- This year has probably been the sickest, in many ways. But the best year, of course, says Sand and continues:

- It's a new job, and I love my new job. It's fun with the response and people want to hear about what I'm going through, Sand tells SVT Sport on the red carpet in front of the Sports Gala.

And the response has been positive, says Sand.
