The model was going to sue the boxer for € 8 million.

In June 2018, Kovalev was arrested in California, and then released on bail. He does not admit his guilt. The hearing is scheduled for April 8, 2020.

The next arrest of Emelianenko

Another Russian representative of martial arts, Alexander Emelianenko, for his next trick escaped with a week-long arrest. MMA fighter, while at the recreation center in Anapa, began to rage and swear obscenely. Base officers called the police. The presence of alcohol in the blood of Emelianenko was confirmed by a medical examination.

The very next day, the court arrested the fighter for seven days under Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (“Petty Hooliganism”). Emelianenko’s lawyer filed an appeal in which he asked to reduce the sentence to three days, but the judge refused.
