For Linn Svahn, 20, things went better, having already won two World Cup victories this season. She easily moved on to the semi-finals and Svahn later moved on to the final on time. Once in the final she had a long chance at a podium. But she couldn't keep up and eventually finished fifth.

- Linn Svahn didn't really make it all the way and halfway down the last hill she becomes mute and tired. It felt like she had to lock her shoulders because she had some lower edge in the bracket to relax. But that is great. A final in the classic sprint during the first year she goes.
