Last weekend Sandra Näslund was superior when she won the World Cup in Canada. It looked equally convincing in the quarter-finals and semi-finals at home in the skre competition in Idre on Saturday.

Näslund started the final well and took the lead. But she was attacked by Marielle Thompson and lost the lead. These situations took advantage of Fanny Smith, who threw past both riders.

Näslund then tried to get past, but Smith kept away.

- The biggest mistake was that she went out too much to the left and invited Thompson. Fanny took advantage of the fight between Thompson and Näslund, says SVT expert Lars Lewén.

"Satisfied"

Sandra Näslund was satisfied afterwards.

- It was a tough heat. I focused too much on Thompson, instead of just going fast. I landed a little short on the jump on the road now. But I am still very satisfied. I did not put the skirt on qualifying and training, but during the race it sits perfectly, says Näslund to SVT.

How tough is the track?

- Really tough. You are really dumb when you come down.

Despite second place, Näslund tops the world cup in ski cross after eight competitions.

Alexandra Edebo won the b-finals and finished in fifth place.

- A nice revenge for the missing in the semi-finals, says SVT expert Lars Lewén.

"It's worthless"

Viktor Andersson finished fourth in the men's final. He was unhappy afterwards.

- It's worthless. Getting four in the finals is worse, then you can also leave first, says Andersson.

- It was sad. I felt I had it today.
