The Swedish ping-pong ladies were inconsolable when they fell in the qualifiers in Portugal yesterday.

It is better for the gentlemen. Today they won the semi-final against Spain by 3-0 in matches. Kristian Karlsson and Jon Persson won the double against Carlos Machado and Alvaro Robler in a five-set, Mattias Falck also had to go up a five-set in the singles match against Jesus Cantero before he could finally win 11-5 in deciding.

Jon Person won fairly easily against Alvaro Robles, 3-0 in set.

Now a final match against Hungary awaits on Friday. Profits there and the Swedish pinging lords are ready for the Tokyo Olympics.
