The Japan Professional Golf Hall of Fame was established by the Japan Professional Golf Association in 2010, and four people who entered the Hall of Fame were announced on the 23rd.

Ebihara, who won the prize money on the Senior European Tour in 2002, was selected in the Player Division, which recognizes players from 1973 onward when the tour system started.

In addition, Michiko Okada, who has been active in women's domestic tours for a long time and won 10 wins in total, and in 1995, the oldest champion of the tour on 312, 50 years old, also entered the Hall of Fame in the player section.

On the other hand, from the Legends category, which honors players who played before 1972, he has won 11 domestic tours, and in 1982 he achieved a three-week consecutive victory on par with the tour record without ever losing the lead. And Toshio Nakamura, who was the first Japanese player to qualify in an overseas major at the US Open in 1935, were selected.

In addition, at the British Women's Open last year, a special prize will be given to Shibuno, who won the overseas major for the first time in 42 years as a Japanese player.

The Japan Professional Golf Hall of Fame is the second person to receive a special award since Kouki Ioki, who won the National Professional Senior Championship in 2013.
