Galina Mikhaylova, one of the world's best lady players on the women's side, has previously played for both Hammarby and Skutskär in the elite series. Now she is returning to Sweden - this time to Västerås.
- It feels exciting to get to play in VSK, I will be able to contribute with experience, says Mikhaylova in a press release.
Västerås has been in contact with the Russian since May last year.
- The question that emerged was whether there was interest and the answer was that it was mutual. All practical pieces from our side were ready at the end of June and since then the decision has been in other hands than VSK Bandys. Such things can take anywhere from ten days to a year, now we are very happy that it has finally become clear, says coach Olle Wiberg.
Mikhaylova has played against her new team during her victories in Hammarby and Skutkär but also when she played in Russian Record Irkutsk.
