In the Winter Studio just over a year ago, SVT's expert Johanna Ojala said that Frida Karlsson, Moa Lundgren, Johanna Hagström and Linn Svahn would break through in the World Cup and become our future long-term stars.

A year later, several of Ojala's tips have already been used.

Today, 17-year-old Märta Rosenberg took gold at the Youth Olympics in Lausanne when she won over 5km in classic, 12.7 seconds ahead of Swiss Siri Wigger and 20.6 ahead of American Kendall Kramer.

Earlier in the championship, Rosenberg has taken both a silver and a bronze money in ski cross and sprint.

In addition to Rosenberg, the one-year-old Tove Ericsson also had a successful championship with an eighth place today, a sixth place in the sprint and a bronze in ski cross last Saturday.

Ojala impressed

Johanna Ojala is impressed with the results.

- A medal at the Youth Olympics is a feather in the hat. It is similar to a World Cup, as the riders from those who usually participate there also participate in the Youth Olympics. Märta is one of the biggest future names we have, together with Ericsson. The fact that she has taken both gold, silver and bronze also indicates an evenness. She is both distance and sprinter, she says.

Ojala, for that matter, does not want to put any pressure on the young talents.

- When you are 16-17, there is still a lot of work left to do before reaching the world elite. A lot can happen, but they show the forefoot and the girls have good conditions to succeed.
