One goal of three matches. Although Zlatan Ibrahimovic has not delivered points on a running belt since his return to Milan, there is no doubt about how important the Swede is already to the team.

Since the 38-year-old, and a few other seasoned plays, arrived, the Italian club has played an undefeated match and won three, including cup games.

- Ibrahimovic, (Asmir) Begovic, (Simon) Kjær ... the results are already showing. We have done well in the last four matches and are now in the quarterfinals of Coppa Italia (the Italian Cup), says Ante Rebic to the Croatian sports site Sportske Novosti according to Football-Italia.

"Made Milan stronger"

Rebic became the big match hero in the dramatic victory against Udinese last Sunday, deciding in the final minute of the match.

The Croat, the World Cup silver medalist in Russia 2018, has had a tough time since joining on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt last year and his two goals in the match were actually his first overall in the red-black shirt.

Both his own and the entire team's rising form curve are largely thanks to Zlatan, he says.

- Ibrahimovic is one of the world's best strikers in football history. He has definitely made Milan stronger. The team will benefit from his experience and quality on the pitch.

An honor

Nice words about the Swedish teammate, but Rebic is not done.

- In addition, we all feel better with him and we will all improve. "Ibra" has a positive character and he brings a winning mentality into the dressing room. Me and he talk a lot, he is a good guy who often helps the younger players with advice. It is an honor to play with him, says the 26-year-old.

Milan's next match is off to Brescia on Friday.
