The Special Committee to oversee the elections of the Football Association during its meeting today, Saturday, at the Federation’s headquarters in Dubai headed by Chancellor Salem Bahyan Al-Amri, next March 12, will be the date for holding the elections of the Federation’s Board of Directors for the new electoral session 2020-2024, as a successor to the former federation headed by Marwan bin Ghalita, who had submitted his resignation. .

"The timetable for the elections will be determined in coordination with the Electoral Appeals Committee," commission head Salem Bahyan al-Amiri said in press statements.

According to Article (11) of the electoral lists, the tasks and powers of the Election Commission included 20 items, including setting the date for conducting and supervising the elections.

Until the election of a new board of directors, the Football Association currently runs a transitional committee headed by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi
