Daniel Fåhraeus has been CEO of the municipal electricity company Pite Energy since 2008 and is also an active board member of Piteå elite.
- I have been working with leadership for quite some time and have learned a lot about strategy. Then I have a great interest in sports. I have been doing tirathlon and hockey and been a part of the Piteå elite, Fåhraeus tells SVT Sport.
He will take up his position next season.
- Incredibly exciting mission. You only get one chance in life and hopefully I can offer experiences from business.
However, Fåhraeus hopes for a few days off from Pite energy so that he can get to know his new colleagues.
- I get to get into the wallet bus and cook coffee and meet people at the office, it will be the first priority, he says.

Charlotte Kalla, who competes for the Piteå elite, told SVT Sport yesterday that she was pleased when she learned that Fåhraeus had been given the job as new length manager.
- Great fun to hear those words. There was a lot of media yesterday but Charlotte Kalla reassured me and I asked her if she could be my mediamentor, laughs Fåhraeus.
