The Kento Momota minibus traveling in drove into a 30 ton heavy truck on the highway shortly after winning the Malaysia Masters on Sunday. Momota's driver died in the crash and three more people were injured.

The world set broke his nose and got cuts on his face but aims to be back on the track for a competition in England on March 11, says Kinii Zeniva at Japan's Badminton Association, who adds that he will return to Japan on Wednesday.

Momota is one of the big home races for the Tokyo Olympics.
