A 41-year-old man of Spanish nationality has been arrested by the National Police in Puente Genil (Córdoba) for allegedly spreading the intimate video of former Málaga CF coach Víctor Sánchez del Amo on social networks.
The agents arrested the man on Friday for his alleged involvement in the crimes of discovery and disclosure of secrecy and, after being heard in a statement, the investigator was released, as reported by the police on Saturday.
Police keep the investigation open after the technician denounced last Tuesday the dissemination of an intimate video of him on social networks without his consent.
The Madrid coach, who was temporarily suspended from his duties by the club, had previously filed a complaint on Sunday in Oviedo, where Malaga played his last game, for possible extortion.
The general director of Malaga, Richard Shaheen, said Friday that the club and Sánchez del Amo are "in talks to resolve the situation in a friendly and satisfactory way for everyone."
