Jürgen Klopp is looking forward to a new confrontation with José Mourinho in the Premier League. The German coach and leader Liverpool will visit the Portuguese Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
In December 2018, both trainers met for the last time in England. Liverpool then won 3-1 against Manchester United and that was also the last game of Mourinho as coach of 'The Red Devils'.
Since November last year, 56-year-old Mourinho has been the manager of Tottenham. "He is a world-class trainer with a specific mindset . He wants to win with everything he has," said 52-year-old Klopp on Friday in his forward-looking press conference against various media.
"We expect an organized Tottenham Hotspur that will certainly place the emphasis on defense and the counter, but our analyzes are not always accurate. That is why we must ensure that we are unpredictable ourselves."
Liverpool won nineteen of the twenty Premier League games this season. "I think no one likes to play against us right now," says Klopp, who is not counting on an easy game. "Whether I have a preference for Tottenham as an opponent this weekend? Probably not."

Mourinho: "Our game will be different without Kane"
Tottenham Hotspur is facing a major challenge in-house against the still undefeated Premier League-leader. The 'Spurs', who are in sixth position, cannot call on top scorer Harry Kane either. The Englishman is absent for months due to a hamstring injury.
"We can play the same game without Harry Kane in our team," Mourinho told the BBC at his press conference. "But if I talk a lot about Harry, I get a little depressed." The 26-year-old Kane has already scored eleven times in the league this season.
The former coach of Real Madrid and Chelsea, among others, hopes that Tottenham Hotspur will report on the transfer market. "If our chairman (Daniel Levy, ed.) Can still come up with a solution for the difficult months that we are going to have, then that is very welcome."
Tottenham Hotspur-Liverpool starts Saturday at 6:30 pm at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The difference in the ranking between the two clubs is 28 points in favor of 'The Reds'.
