The men's downhill race in Val Gardena, Italy, was canceled due to snow and rain. Now, the International Ski Federation (Fis) announces that Saturday's planned race will run in Italian Bormio on December 27.
There will thus be two downhill races at the resort that weekend, one on Friday and one on Saturday. On Sunday, the alpine combination is run.
The women's downhill race in the French Val d'Isere was also canceled due to snowfall, but no new date has been announced.
