Mirza Jelecak leaves Sirius - Henrik Rydström alone head coach

Sirius struggled for most of the past season in the bottom of the table, and was threatened with relegation for a long time.

However, the team passed the contract, and finished in eleventh place, six points before Kalmar in qualifying.

Nevertheless, the club is changing the coach staff. Today it was announced that Mirza Jelecak will leave the club and that Henrik Rydström will in the future become the sole head coach.

- We have made a joint decision on that. We have had discussions after the end of the season that culminated in this. We want to keep the reasons behind for ourselves, says Sports Manager Ola Andersson to Upsala Nya Tidning.

- After a few years, "Henke" is now ready to have sole responsibility. We have seen him both during his time in Kalmar and this year. He is ripe for that.

Jelecak has been in Sirius since 2012. First as a player, then as U21 coach, assistant coach and lastly white coach.
