It was only three points between four Timrå and the third Modo before Friday's match. A rival meeting that attracted large crowds to a crowded home arena where 5,880 people saw the match in place.

And the mood could not be missed in the swinging situation where formidable Modo started the match best and took the lead. But despite Timrå coming back from a two-goal sub-run in the second period, it was Modo who emerged victorious from the summit. Because in the second period's closing seconds, Tom Hedberg Modo gave the lead again when he sent in 3-2. In the third, Patrik Karlkvist then definitely killed the match with his 4-2 goal and Modo hooks Björklöven and Karlskoga at the top of the table thanks to the team's fourth straight victory.

At the same time, one Björklöven defeated the White horse by 5–3 while Karlskoga beat AIK by 1–0 in a low-scoring match.

Timrå in turn retains his fourth place thanks to Karlskrona running over Västerås, a point after Timrå in the table, by 4-1.
